Your studio’s address, one sender account
Choose SentIt when…
You work independently and want cloud file selection plus a delivery page on a domain you own. Premium costs $2.99 USD/month before tax. You provide the domain; no team seats or client upload portal are included.
Choose Filemail when…
You need desktop transfer tools, file requests or business controls. Its Business offering lists multi-user administration, SSO and end-to-end encryption, which SentIt does not offer.
SentIt vs Filemail: the practical differences
| What matters | Filemail | SentIt |
|---|---|---|
| Starting a delivery | Add files to a new transfer and choose email delivery or a download link. Transfer options include expiry and download notifications. [2] | Select files from Dropbox, Drive or your computer, then publish a link to share yourself. Cloud attachments still depend on access to their source. |
| Transfer total / uploaded file size | Personal lists 5 GB per transfer; Pro lists 250 GB. Business lists transfers of any size. [1] | From your computer: 1 GB per file on Free; 5 GB on Premium, within your storage allowance. Connected Dropbox and Drive files use separate download allowances; these upload caps do not apply to them. |
| Branding | Pro includes branding and a custom Filemail subdomain. [1] | Premium includes a logo, accent colour, light or dark appearance, optional removal of SentIt branding and a verified custom domain. |
| Client uploads | Pro includes file requests and receiving files. [1] | Publish files from your account. No client file-request workflow. |
| Business controls | Business lists multi-user administration, SSO and end-to-end encryption. [1] | Individual sender accounts with unlisted recipient links; no SSO or end-to-end encryption. |

Can clients upload files back through a SentIt delivery?
No. SentIt currently delivers files selected by the sender. If incoming file requests, automated downloads or managed team transfers are required, compare those workflows with Filemail’s relevant plan.
Will your delivery fit?
- Files from your computer
- 1 GB per file and 1 GB storage on Free. 5 GB per file and 50 GB storage on Premium.
- Files in Dropbox or Drive
- Stay with their provider and use none of your SentIt upload storage. The upload size caps above do not apply; each download must fit your remaining daily allowance.
- Daily download allowance
- 100 GB daily on Free; 2 TB on Premium shared across deliveries. Downloads of connected files, full-file previews and files read to create ZIPs count toward this allowance.
- Files and ZIPs
- A delivery holds up to 100 files. Download all creates a ZIP for packages up to 4 GB, subject to the daily ZIP allowance. Download larger packages file by file. ZIP downloads also count toward your transfer allowance.
For example, one complete download of a 10 GB connected file uses 10 GB of your daily allowance. Full-file previews and ZIP creation also count.
Free links last up to 7 days. Premium defaults to 30 days and can use a future date or no scheduled expiry. Keep uploaded files in your account and connected files accessible at their provider.
Anyone with the link can access the files until it expires or you remove access. No passwords or recipient authentication.
Upload and download request limits
You can upload 2 GB from your computer per day on Free or 50 GB on Premium, within your storage allowance. Free allows 25 download requests per file per UTC day. Premium has no daily per-file cap, subject to fair use. Daily allowances reset at midnight UTC.
