Choose SentIt when…

You want a delivery at an address such as files.yourstudio.com and the option to keep it open beyond 30 days. Premium includes both for $2.99 USD/month before tax; you supply the domain and keep the files available.

Choose Smash when…

You need large uploads, file reception or an Outlook integration. Its paid plans include transfer customization; larger free transfers can enter a non-priority queue.

One address for a release campaign

Attach masters from Dropbox and an exported credits PDF from Drive. With Premium, use your studio’s domain and no scheduled expiry for a release campaign lasting several months. If a credit changes, replace that attachment at the same link. Keep the storage connections active throughout the campaign.

Questions before you send

Is SentIt an unlimited large-file upload service?

No. Local uploads have plan-specific size and storage limits. Connected cloud files do not use SentIt storage, but downloads must fit the daily transfer allowance. Choose based on the files and download volume you actually expect.

Will your delivery fit?

Files from your computer: 1 GB per file and 1 GB storage on Free. 5 GB per file and 50 GB storage on Premium.
Files in Dropbox or Drive: Stay with their provider and use none of your SentIt upload storage. The upload size caps above do not apply; each download must fit your remaining daily allowance.
Daily download allowance: 100 GB daily on Free; 2 TB on Premium shared across deliveries. Downloads of connected files, full-file previews and files read to create ZIPs count toward this allowance.
Files and ZIPs: A delivery holds up to 100 files. Download all creates a ZIP for packages up to 4 GB, subject to the daily ZIP allowance. Download larger packages file by file. ZIP downloads also count toward your transfer allowance.

For example, one complete download of a 10 GB connected file uses 10 GB of your daily allowance. Full-file previews and ZIP creation also count.

Free links last up to 7 days. Premium defaults to 30 days and can use a future date or no scheduled expiry. Keep uploaded files in your account and connected files accessible at their provider.

Anyone with the link can access the files until it expires or you remove access. No passwords or recipient authentication.

Upload and download request limits

You can upload 2 GB from your computer per day on Free or 50 GB on Premium, within your storage allowance. Free allows 25 download requests per file per UTC day. Premium has no daily per-file cap, subject to fair use. Daily allowances reset at midnight UTC.
