SentIt vs TransferNow
A TransferNow alternative for files spread across cloud storage.

Deliver cloud files without collecting local copies
Choose SentIt when…
Your approved assets are already in Dropbox and Drive. Select them directly in SentIt, add any local exports and share the assembled delivery. Both plans support those connections; Premium adds your branding and domain.
Choose TransferNow when…
You need larger uploads from your computer, antivirus scanning or a team plan. Those are meaningful differences if large local uploads or shared administration are central to your work.
SentIt vs TransferNow: the practical differences
| What matters | TransferNow | SentIt |
|---|---|---|

A client handoff in practice
A campaign package from Dropbox, Drive and your laptop
Select a 2 GB campaign ZIP from your Dropbox, a 12 MB instructions PDF from your Drive and a 20 MB preview from your laptop. Only the preview uses SentIt upload storage. The connected files stay at their providers and use your download allowance when clients retrieve them. Replace an outdated attachment without sending a new link.

Is a 5 GB transfer limit the same as a 5 GB upload limit?
No. A transfer limit applies to the combined package; a per-upload limit applies to each file. SentIt also has account storage and daily allowances. Compare all of those with your expected delivery and download volume.
Will your delivery fit?
- Files from your computer
- 1 GB per file and 1 GB storage on Free. 5 GB per file and 50 GB storage on Premium.
- Files in Dropbox or Drive
- Stay with their provider and use none of your SentIt upload storage. The upload size caps above do not apply; each download must fit your remaining daily allowance.
- Daily download allowance
- 100 GB daily on Free; 2 TB on Premium shared across deliveries. Downloads of connected files, full-file previews and files read to create ZIPs count toward this allowance.
- Files and ZIPs
- A delivery holds up to 100 files. Download all creates a ZIP for packages up to 4 GB, subject to the daily ZIP allowance. Download larger packages file by file. ZIP downloads also count toward your transfer allowance.
For example, one complete download of a 10 GB connected file uses 10 GB of your daily allowance. Full-file previews and ZIP creation also count.
Free links last up to 7 days. Premium defaults to 30 days and can use a future date or no scheduled expiry. Keep uploaded files in your account and connected files accessible at their provider.
Anyone with the link can access the files until it expires or you remove access. No passwords or recipient authentication.
Upload and download request limits
You can upload 2 GB from your computer per day on Free or 50 GB on Premium, within your storage allowance. Free allows 25 download requests per file per UTC day. Premium has no daily per-file cap, subject to fair use. Daily allowances reset at midnight UTC.
